Guidelines & Application Process
CRSF services can be accessed via the UH infrastructure grants Ola Hawaii or PIKO. This is the recommended access method in particular for junior investigators, those considering funding via pilot funds from these infrastructure grants and for health disparity investigators. The CRSF Core will be notified and an initial response will be forwarded within 72 hours.
Alternatively, CRSF services can be accessed by emailing CRSF Director (Cecilia Shikuma MD) and CRSF Core Coordinator (Debra Ogata-Arakaki RN) to arrange for a consultation. Include investigator information (name, organization/department and position, phone number), short statement of your project and specific needs, and timeframe of need particularly if there are important deadlines.
Re-charge rates differ by investigator type. CRSF nursing and laboratory personnel services and certain resources are provided free for investigators with project funding via Ola Hawaii and PIKO. CRSF services and resources are provided at reduced rates for other junior investigators and for health disparity investigators. Please contact us to discuss re-charge rates for your specific needs.
